Central Kids is a welcoming place where children can make friends, have fun and discover who Jesus is in ways they can understand.
Our goal is not simply to keep kids busy while adults are upstairs. We want children to know they are an important part of the church and that God can work in their lives right now.
We want to partner with parents as children learn to pray, understand God's Word and begin building their own relationship with Jesus.
Pastor Crystal Rabino
Pastor Crystal serves as our Kids Pastor at Central Church and helps lead Central Kids with a heart to see children genuinely know Jesus.
She wants every child who comes through our doors to know that they are loved, that they belong in God's family, and that they can have a real relationship with Jesus right now.
Central Kids is about more than having a great Sunday. Our desire is to partner with parents and help children build a foundation of faith that will continue growing throughout their lives.

On the third Sunday of each month, our kids stay upstairs with the whole church family for the regular worship service.
We call these Family Sundays.
Worship together as a family.
Family Sundays give children the opportunity to see their parents and church family worship, pray, hear God's Word and respond to God together.
Kids learn a great deal by watching the people they love follow Jesus. We want them to know that they are not simply part of a children's program, they are part of the church.
These Sundays also help connect the generations of Central and remind all of us that church is a family.

Family Sunday happens on the third Sunday of each month. Kids stay with their families in the main service at 10:30 AM.
Kids need to see faith lived.
They see you worship.
Children learn by watching. Seeing parents worship, pray and engage with God's Word helps show them what a life of faith looks like.
They know they belong.
Family Sunday reminds children that they are not separate from the church. They are an important part of the church family right now.
Generations worship together.
There is something powerful about children, parents, grandparents and the entire church worshipping Jesus in the same room.

What happens on a normal Sunday?
On regular Sundays, Central Kids provides a kid-focused environment where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships and grow in faith.
What happens on Family Sunday?
On the third Sunday of the month, children remain with their families in the main worship service rather than attending their regular Central Kids gathering.
Why do kids stay upstairs on Family Sunday?
We want children to experience worship with the whole church and see their parents and other adults following Jesus. It helps children understand that they are part of the larger church family too.
Can my child stay with me in the service on other Sundays?
Yes. Families are always welcome in our Sunday service. Central Kids is available to serve families, but parents are welcome to keep their children with them.
What if it's our first Sunday?
Come a little early and let someone know you're new. We'll be happy to help you find your way and answer any questions you have about Central Kids.
